Account Deletion

This is a translation. The Greek version is authoritative.

You delete your account yourself, from inside the app. Nothing has to be requested and there is no waiting period.

Deletion is permanent. There is no deactivation, no grace period and no way to restore. Once you confirm, the account and its data are erased immediately.

The steps

Open PAO Hub.
Go to the Ρυθμίσεις (Settings) tab.
Under the ΛΟΓΑΡΙΑΣΜΟΣ (Account) heading, tap «Ο λογαριασμός σου» (Your account).
Tap «Διαγραφή λογαριασμού» (Delete account), at the bottom of the screen.
In the confirmation dialog, tap «Διαγραφή» (Delete).

What is erased

Your account itself — including your email address — and everything hanging off it, across eight places in the database:

your settings — sports, publishers and notification switches;
the notification tokens for your devices;
your saved articles;
your chat display name and profile;
all of your chat messages;
the reports you have made;
the blocks you have made, and other people's blocks of you;
any ban on you from the chat.

What is not erased

Articles and matches. They are not your data — they are the app's content.
If you had deleted someone else's message as a moderator, that deletion stands; only its link to you is removed.

If you never created an account

The app works without an account, using an anonymous session. In that case there is no delete button in the app, because there is no account to delete.

Uninstalling removes everything on your device, but not the settings and saved articles that have already synced.
If you never changed a setting and never saved an article, your anonymous session is deleted automatically after 30 days.

If you only want the notifications to stop

Nothing needs deleting. Go to Ρυθμίσεις (Settings) and turn off the switches under the ΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΕΙΣ (Notifications) heading.

If you no longer have the app

Email support@paohub.rentzilas.dev from the address you registered with. The request is carried out within 30 days.
